Cassidy murphyEsquire
Estate Planner
Legacy Preservation Partner
With close to 35 years of experience working with women’s and service organizations, her work is grounded in creating a positive and uplifting environment for those most vulnerable in our community.
Cassidy’s career has been marked by a series of impactful roles, starting as a co-manager and trainer for Planned Parenthood. She also served as a Deputy District Attorney, specializing in the prosecution of recidivist domestic abusers, and was a trainer on domestic violence prosecution for law enforcement.
Cassidy’s dedication to peace and reconciliation took her to Rwanda, where she served on the board of the Peacemaker Institute and initiated an intensive peace retreat program for genocide survivors, perpetrators, rescuers, and others impacted by the 1994 Rwandan Genocide. As General Counsel for Tartoosh, a Native American-owned firm, she vetted and facilitated environmental projects with Native American tribes throughout the U.S.
In her community, Cassidy has been an active member of the Boulder Rotary Club, serving as a board member, trustee for the Boulder Rotary Foundation, and President of the Boulder Rotary Club. She is also a board member for local non-profits including BeadforLife, the YMCA of Northern Colorado and Southern Wyoming, and Cellists for Change.
Currently, Cassidy continues to contribute to non-profit organizations on board and legal issues and works as an estate planning attorney, always striving to create a positive and empowering environment for those she serves.

The Boulder Rotary Club Foundation serves as the primary charitable funding vehicle of the Boulder Rotary Club’s Good Works. The Foundation receives tax-deductible donations from Boulder Rotary Club members, their friends and families, and others in the community who want to support Rotary’s service projects and programs. We invest those funds with the advice of our investment advisor, Peak Asset Management. At the Boulder Rotary Club’s request, the Foundation makes distributions in support of the programs and service projects undertaken by BRC members.
